OZL History

The Omicron Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was established in Fayetteville, Arkansas on June 30, 1985. We serve the communities of Northwest Arkansas with a specific emphasis on the city of Fayetteville, AR. The chapter has been active in the community since its establishment. The chapter was founded on the principle of allowing brothers to continue their duties of manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind even after their college days have passed. Today, the Omicron Zeta Lambda Chapter continues its efforts to move Northwest Arkansas in the right direction through participation in all of the fraternity’s national programs as well as helping those in need as the opportunity arises. Above all, this chapter is committed to a consistent effort to hold high the name of Alpha. From its inception, Omicron Zeta Lambda has carried out the workings of Alpha through the National Programs.
